Jackie Flynn is the founder and principal instructor of the J. Flynn Irish Dance Academy of San Francisco. Jackie has been expressing herself through dance and movement for as long as she has been able to walk. Like many San Francisco natives, her first dance memory is of tap and ballet lessons at the notable Betty May Dance Studios at the mere age of three. By age five, Jackie began Irish dance lessons with esteemed Irish Dance teacher and adjudicator, Ann Healy. It was love at first hop, and Jackie would continue to learn and train with the Healy Irish Dance Studio for the next 20 years.
